DRANA's annual meeting is held to celebrate the year's accomplishments and to elect officers and open Board of Director positions. The Board of Directors is made up of five directors and four officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Each officer/board member has one vote at board meetings and are expected to attend each one. 

  • Directors serve two year terms which are staggered. 
  • Officers serve a one year term and are elected at every annual meeting.  
Beer, wine and light appetizers will be available but members are welcome to bring a beverage or dish of their choice and discretion.  


Each non-skypoiny resident guest is REQUIRED to register on the event page before Jan. 1, 2019 and will be a guest of Michael Avalos.



President: The President shall preside at all meetings and of the Board of Directors and shall appoint such committees as he/she OR the Board shall consider expedient or necessary.

Vice President: In the absence of the President, the Vice President shall perform his/her duties.  The Vice President shall be responsible for the recruitment of block captains.

Secretary: The Secretary shall keep the minutes of all meetings of the District and of the Board of Directors and shall submit these for approval at the subsequent meetings and shall keep an updated record of all notices of meetings, Treasurer’s report and minutes.  The Secretary shall oversee the distribution of notices for all meetings or the District and Board and shall perform such other duties as may be required, by the President or the Board.  

Treasurer: The Treasurer shall collect and have charge of all receipts and monies of the District, deposit therein the name of the District in a bank approved by the Board of Directors.  The Treasurer shall keep regular accounts of receipts and disbursements, submit records when requested, and give an itemized statement at the annual meeting of the District.

Director: There are no specific corporate duties spelled out for Directors but a Director is expected to attend and participate at all board meetings. A Director's vote holds the same weight as an Officer's vote.  Three director positions are available for 2019.


Nominations are called for at least 14 days prior to the annual meeting and are due no later than midnight on December 21, 2018. Members must use the nomination form to nominate themselves or others for an officer or open director position.


The voting process will not be conducted for positions that remain unopposed by the nomination deadline. Otherwise, five days before the annual meeting, all members will receive an email with the slate of candidates. Members will receive a ballot at the annual meeting where they will vote for the 2019 Officers and Directors. The results of the election will be announced at the annual meeting and the new Board of Directors for 2019 will be introduced.



For Member Awareness: Member renewal's cannot be accepted by credit card due to unforeseen circumstances.  DRANA is actively working to make this payment option available in January.  Members who are due for renewal are asked to renew at the annual meeting by cash or check.  If unable to renew at the annual meeting, DRANA will announce when credit card payment becomes available.
